Digital utbildning blev fast jobb

Jag var så trött på att nöja mig med ett kortare vikariat eller ett nej tack bara för att jag saknade spetskompetens eller yrkeserfarenhet. Jag var den eviga vikarien.
Men idag, tack vare utbildningen Operativ Digital Kommunikatör på Campus Västra Skaraborg, så har jag ett anställningsavtal i min hand. Min framtid visade sig vara lika ljus som den digitala.

Yh-utbildning med praktik
Jag tycker om att kommunicera med människor och letade runt bland olika mediautbildningar och utbildningar i digital kommunikation. Valet föll på Campus Västra Skaraborg eftersom det fanns mycket praktik inbakat i utbildningen. Praktik som kunde ge mig den yrkeslivserfarenheten som jag behövde. Jag såg en fördel med att läsa på en yh-utbildning är att den skapas i samband med näringslivet.

Kommunikation och marknadsföring
Jag visste inte exakt vad jag ville jobba med men jag fick hela tiden bekräftelse och indikationer på att det ligger helt rätt i tiden att läsa en digital utbildning inom kommunikation och marknadsföring. Människor och chefer jag träffar i alla möjliga sammanhang konstaterar ungefär samma ”Det där är ju något som verkligen alla företag behöver fokusera på.”

Digital strateg eller webbredaktör
Kommunikatörsyrket blir mer och mer eftertraktat eftersom det digitala landskapet ständigt utvecklas. Sociala medier och internetmarknadsföring är det vanligaste sättet för företag att kommunicera ut sitt budskap och stärka varumärket. Istället för att ständigt söka jobb är jag nu den som arbetsgivaren söker. Jag kan välja mellan flera yrkestitlar som exempelvis:

Sociala medier
Varje dag skapar jag kontakter med personer på sociala medier och lär mig hur man skapar intresse och engagemang. Att det i slutändan handlar om digital marknadsföring är något som jag ofta glömmer bort. I de flesta fallen hjälper jag bara någon att lösa ett problem eller tillgodose ett behov.

I min klass har 23 av 30 redan gått vidare till jobb som kommunikatörer både inom kommuner, föreningar och företag. Två har startat en egen byrå och vunnit guldägget, det finaste pris man kan få som digital marknadsförare och strateg. Själv har jag efter många år som vikarie äntligen en fast anställning. Livet kan börja.
